I just gotta say that I've had lots of time tonight to use this, and it truly is an awesome pedal. Sounds quite good with the Small Clone mixed. I'm glad I bought it. Replying to my own post. Woo hoo.

I love it to death, i got it from this guy named chuck collins. HEres his website http://pages.prodigy.net/chuckcollins/percolator.html
Have you hear the song "Mama Gina"? It's the distortion at the end of that, but I use mine sort of differently.. here, ill popst a sound clip in a sec.

Trasher02 04.21.2006 12:14 PM

in really need some more pedals...

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 04.21.2006 03:32 PM

You got the fuzz factory, if you just have some reverb after it you should already be able to get a great tone.

You can always buy some danos. Some of them are moddable, and others just plain fun.

Lone Flanger 04.21.2006 04:23 PM

For some reason, I bought a Boss TR-2 today.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 04.21.2006 05:22 PM

Isn't the Dano tuna melt the same thing for 1/4 the price?

RIPfrey05 04.21.2006 08:40 PM

nay

Lone Flanger 04.21.2006 08:59 PM

Had one and it was a good trem but the switching circuit fucked up on it.

CHOUT 04.23.2006 09:30 PM

I placed my rare (no longer made) Boss PS-3 Pitch Shifter/Delay up on ebay right now.

TheDom 04.23.2006 09:39 PM

I got a Turbo Rat, Digitech RP-80 and a Cyrbaby wah. Nothing special.

I think I'm going to get a Delay or Looper next. http://www.roland.com/products/en/RC-50/index.html
That looks pretty cool.
EDIT: I just fucking looked at the price for that. $500? no thanks.

I also kind of want another distortion. The Rat adds alot of bass to the guitar and it just sounds like muck most of the time.

Someone recommend me a Loop and/or Delay pedal.

CHOUT 04.23.2006 10:19 PM

The Dom,

There's cheaper loopers:
My friend has this and likes it

As for delay, I have this and it's excellent.
I paid $180, but even some of the regular delay pedals aren't that much cheaper with less delay time. This has up to 23 seconds and tons of settings like tape simulation, sound on sound, reverse, modulation etc.

Or you could bid on my Boss PS-3 on ebay. HeHe. It has 3 nice delay settings. It is a nice pedal honestly. 2 seconds maximum delay.

I found this baby yesterday. A DOD FX90 delay. An analog delay fpr $50 and it's pretty f'ing sweet if I do say so myself. It's even cooler because I've been looking at delays on ebay and diff ones in general and thought I wouldn't get away with a good one under 100, but I got it for $50 an i'm stoked!

Some stuff:

Trasher02 04.29.2006 02:34 PM

nice pedals! nice Zvex too

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 04.29.2006 02:37 PM

The RC-50 looks pretty cool to me. But so does the EHX 2880. I can't afford either one, but maybe someday.

The ultimate flanger The Electric Mistress' array of critically notched and tuned filters gracefully sweep the sound spectrum, creating shimmering, ethereal passages that are truly out of this world. Exclusive "Filter Matrix" mode disengages the automatic sweep, allowing manual positioning of the filter bank to achieve chime-like metallic tones and other unique effects.
I just found one of these tonight used for decent price. I need to learn how to tweak it, but it has a nice long and slow sweeping flange that I have been looking for. The filter matrix mode is pretty cool too.

Have any of you guys played with a Moogerfooger Ring Modulator? Those look like they would give you a buttload of insane options.
