Because Rowland would have turned 60 today - or yesterday, if we take into account that he was Australian. An exceptional artist, one of my personal favorite guitar players. He always went straight for pure, raw emotion in his playing style. Sorely missed.

Proof that pure spoken word, even at its most naked (no other instruments aside from the human voice), can be sheer music. In the hands of a master, that is.

Anyone who can cover Talk Talk and Townes Van Zandt and make them sound like they belong in the same album is a genius in my book.
