Madonna Experiencing A COVID-19 Meltdown Of Sorts......and her face?

......when was the last time Madonna purchased toilet paper?

Some Nazi skinhead reviewed one of my bootleg uploads on archive.org. I told him to go to hell, the least he deserved (probably could've gone further, but I don't wanna get my account nuked again).

h8kurdt 03.22.2020 05:07 PM

Did he at least give you a good review?

It honestly wasn't related to the thing at all. I'd uploaded a show from a certain infamous pop-punk band, and he gave a comment saying "I saw them near here in 1990; they were opening for [random band I've never heard of] and I only recognised one song." No star rating.

Of course, his username was Death_to_Commies and he'd given an audiobook biography of Hitler a five-star review (with disparaging comments about Obama). Hence telling him to go to hell.

Woke up this morning, checked my phone, and this is what I read:

Hey _tunic_,
You got a new message from Jimi Hendrix.

I must still be dreaming...

Today, you WIN the internet!

_tunic_ 03.29.2020 01:29 AM

Well, you're not going to like this one:

With the spellchecker of the phone keyboard set to Dutch, I type "americ" and get the following three suggestions:

smerig, smerige, smerigste

this translates to

filthy, filthy, filthiest

(the first two words mean the same, it's Dutch grammar it's called a "bending e")

don't blame me for this fuckup, blame Google :D

i'm for some time here o this forum now and i still have one question...

why there are no public groups?!

_tunic_ 04.06.2020 09:03 AM

What do you mean with public groups? All forums are open, people can read all posts without the need for logging in. The only exception is the Sonic Sharing one.

I had one of the most random ideas just now: Maybe I should try to professionally produce Lo-Fi Hip Hop Beats to Study/Sleep/Chill to. It's like the most relevant genre right now. Lot of people hunkered down at home, possibly on edge, in need of something easy and comforting. Also people are watching their favorite piece of media from the past - way to get on that nostalgia soundbyte-sampling train. All jest aside though, those lists are surprisingly soothing. It's like one of those Bob Ross experiences (guessing we've all been there at some point).

I was never big poster on here, maybe in the beginning and mostly in sonic gossip and sonic sharing section, so hit a 5000 mark is kind of wow to me.

Decided to dub this time period "The Great Meanwhile". Because that's an approach I can somewhat live with. That gum you like is going to come back in style. Meanwhile...

Got a job interview on Thursday, per video conference. Got told last week by the insurance doctor that I should go look for work again. Great timing to go look for a job in depression times eh? I've quit my previous job in July or whenever because of incurable burnout.
Found this advertisement where they offered the perfect IT job, so let's see what it is. I hope it's sitting on the balcony and doing nothing, I've become quite the expert in it

did you accumulate enough savings before to afford this almost-year-long pause?

I'm asking because I might deal with similar scenario quite soon (but from a different angle - I might be out of job soon)

anyway, best of luck with the interview. if you feel better than you did last year, it's the best thing to do.

_tunic_ 04.21.2020 09:53 AM

I quit my job ( my company and I both decided that it in both best interest that I no longer show up, because management were tired of me shouting at them that they were incompetent :) ). And then I called sick, which is a bit strange construction that probably only works in my country. I am on sick leave and my ex-employer pays 70% of my salary. So from time to time I had an appointment with an insurance doctor and he asked how I felt I told him I still feel shit and he told me Ok speak to you again in a month or so. But now I must go look for work again, if not I will loose the income, or will get a lot less I don't even know probably the regular unemployment pay but I don't know how much that would be.
