OHHHH sorry Pookie, I thought someone else already got yours.

Ok, I don't think Glice had gotten his yet, so he is the fourth. Interesting.

EDIT: New avatar is CREEPY!!

Hip Priest 08.11.2006 06:51 PM

It's getting tense in the big money round. Or something.

Mine's great, The recipient is a lucky chap, even if he doesn't realise it.

Pookie 08.11.2006 07:00 PM

Of course, I know who they've all gone to.

Пятхъдесят Шест 08.11.2006 07:01 PM

Spill the beans!

Hip Priest 08.11.2006 07:02 PM

I'm so tempted to ask. But I shall resist. Yes. Maybe.

Pookie 08.11.2006 07:07 PM

I'll gladly pm anybody who wants to know. I don't think there's any big secret, it's just that some people said they'd rather not know in advance.

Пятхъдесят Шест 08.11.2006 07:10 PM

I would rather it be a surprise. I think.

Hip Priest 08.11.2006 07:11 PM

Quite right, sir. Quite right.

Pookie 08.11.2006 07:14 PM

Talking of Glice, it seems like he hasn't been around for a while?

Hip Priest 08.11.2006 07:16 PM

Yes. And noumenal hasn't been here for ages either (you may not even know noumenal - his mixtape would have been superb, I guarantee it, absolutely splendid fellow), and of course Laila.

Pookie 08.11.2006 07:28 PM

I don't know noumenal, Laila is obviously sticking to her word, and my theory with Glice is that he's got his tape & is taking his time digesting it before re-emerging a new man.

Or maybe he just takes a holiday without shouting it from the roof tops & starting a thread about it.

More waiting. Waiting on top of the waiting for sonicl to review my tape more completely, if he plans to do so. I've got nothing but time...

I will be reviewing it more completely, I promise, but it's going to be two or three more days before I can get the chance to sit down and listen to it properly.

Пятхъдесят Шест 08.12.2006 11:47 AM

No rush at all, I wasn't sure if I should post the tracklisting or not yet. No worries, I hope you enjoy it though, perhaps that is a worry.

You're a wise man. Rural Ireland, as it happens.

I've got my tape, it's a load of 80's > early 90's stuff. It's very much the kind of thing I wouldn't give time to normally, which is an important aspect of mix-tapery. Most enjoyable. I've not recognised anything apart from a suspected Foetus thing. I'm guessing it's Hip Priest's, on account of the Northern themed artwork. This is fun, I'm super enthusiastic about the next.

It's rather like listening to an edition of the John Peel show, just without the man himself, and for this reason I suspect that either Hip Priest or Glice may be the evil genius behind it. Come on out whoever you are, show your face.

Not I sir. You wouldn't find me within a country mile of Costello.

I can post a track list as soon as you like you like - it's written, ready for the recipient. I though it fun not to include one, then wondered if it were a daft idea once I'd sent the thing.

I've never heard Foetus.

I'm looking forward to your review. I think.

Review pending assumed lucidity, post-hangover. Who got my tape then? I'll hold out on the track listing till I've given it a few more listens.

No one has got yours yet. It probably means its Stateside. Either that or Danny Himself got it, and he is going to be gone for a few weeks.

porkmarras 08.13.2006 03:28 PM

And noone has got mine yet.I hope it ended up in the USA.

It could potentially be in my mailbox tomorrow.
