Well I tried Wordpress, which is allegedly free, and signed up and then it said "and how would you like to pay?" so I closed my browser.

I don't know how to code either. I've been using ello.co to blog on cause it's free.

That's just Wordpress being a bastard and trying to get you to sign up for premium. The free one works totally fine, although there will be ads on your blog and it'll be [whatever your site is called].wordpress.com

Given that I use WordPress every week, I want to clarify some things. If you're going through WordPress.com, that's a service provided by a company named Automattic, who provide a website using WordPress the application. They handle all the updates/bugfixes/etc on their own, and inject their own platform-specific features.

Now, if you're savvy enough and want to host your own website somewhere, there's WordPress the web application, available from WordPress.org. Note the top level domain difference. This is the application that Automattic uses for their services, minus some of the extras that they "throw in for you". When self hosted, there's no prompts to update to premium or ads.

Actually Wordpress is free too. They’re all free unless you want to pay for premium shit. Weebly’s free, Wix is free. Just the custom design elements aren’t always free

They’re not free on Blogger either. *shrug*

ah last time i fucked with wp you needed to install in your own (paid) webhost, add templates or customize on xml, pain in the ass. been ages though,

weebly and wix may have free homepage but wont have free blog or free multipages will they? not last i checked. they nickel&dime you for features, the blog being one of them.

but anyway if wp is free hosting like blogger then great

Ahh, thank you both for your replies. I might look into this further (I'll at least download the web app).

I've never been great at taking life in moderation. Always so much more of an all or nothing kind of guy. It's why I have to be so strict on myself, as nothing is usually the smarter option.

Speaking of 'smarter': While I'm too perverse to identify as a feminist, I will have to admit that women are typically smarter than men in terms of the things which matter most to me in life: art, philosophy, emotional intelligence. If you disagree, then you're not hanging around the right women.

rephrasing: look at robigator’s blog: it’s a fucking blogger. gets more action than anyone else’s here. if you google rxtt it’s like, the top result.

Yeah, I did it for about two years. I only paid for one thing — a template, which was running at a discount — after. year or so of using the most basic platform and trying to learn the coding side.

I liked it. Just didn’t have time for it after a while. Looked clean, had a nice interface, made things easy, allowed me to blast out posts using from my phone or any computer just by emailing to an address I was given.

Dr. Eugene Felikson 01.06.2019 10:37 AM

^ ICP are sloppy af in the ring. lol. always have been, always will be. they're just hardcore fans who grew up backyard wrestling and pushed their way in life hard enough to eventually get into some professional matches.

Just like their rap careers in a sense. It's inspiring, honestly. Two high school dropouts who paint up like clowns, were initially told that nobody would be into them because of the clown gimmick were eventually told that they only succeeded because of the clown gimmick.

They have music, wrestling careers, movies, a non-corporate sponsored music festival of their own, and an entire sub culture dedicated to them.

They are the American dream personified, and the most successful independent musicians of all time (I think?) despite having little talent whatsoever.

Whoop whoop.

Maybe because they keep blurring them the fuck out like weirdasses.

But yeah, I’ve never been big on any kind of porn. Especially the kind that blurs out the best part and highlights the saddest part.

That's a really gross way of describing it. And anyway, a gentleman would never kiss and tell.

That said, I really wish I could get someone else's sauce...
