Two amazing bands led by Mukai Shitoku, who is a musical genius. Number Girl is probably my favorite rock band of all time. Zazen Boys are one of the most creative and interesting bands around today, blows away all "math rock" and whatever, actually has awesome hooks and weird riffs in alt tunings and whatever, without adhering to cliches.
