Thanks, I'll check them out... but a quick first look seems to indicate that they're from Bedfordshire, which isn't all that far from London. In fact it looks like pretty much all their gigs in the last couple of years have been in London.
When's the last time Kim played in London outside of SY? Must've been A Perfect Partner 6-7 years ago. |
A set of pictures of Dylan Nyoukis and Body Head at Cafe Oto, in London, UK from a few hours earlier:

Thankyou! I recorded the whole show, Dylan Nyoukis (missing the first 5 minutes) and Body/Head so look out for the recording soon... It was a great night although I was a bit distracted trying to make sure the recording was going to be ok but that was just at the start of the night. Kim looked gorgeous! |

nice poster, got a little Morris Louis feel to it
|
great show last night, best dylan nyoukis set i've seen and best kg improv thing i've seen or heard too.
|
Very awesome poster, and I love reading all this positive comments about the show and look forward to listen to the recording. Stu, I understand that being taping can be a bit distracting, it certainly has happened to me. Thanks for all your efforts.
Anyway, a couple more sets of pictures from this show have now been uploaded to flickr: unresttwothree's pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/unrest2...th/6923225037/ Cafe Oto's pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cafeoto...in/photostream |

I didn't mind doing it and now I can appreciate all the more the efforts other people go through to bring us these recordings... I had a bit of a problem at the start of Dylan's set as the recording had been set to LP2 mode and I was trying to work out how to switch back to SP. Once I worked that out and made sure that the sound levels were ok then it was easy enough. |

Yes, as far as I remember tickets for that were like £20 and the show lasted 20 minutes. No support no encore, no nothing aside from ridiculously priced merch (i.e. the Perfect Partner boxset for like £80) |

This reminds me of the last time I saw the Fall. (sans overpriced merch) |
whats up with kim's jazzmaster, its def. a lee signature model... but whats up with that protective cellophane wrap on the pickguard? looks funny...

It's probably brand new. |
Good show here in Hasselt. Bill Nace can be quite different in his playing. They had some dynamic jams/chemistry going on. We shot it with two camera's. I hope to have an edit up soon. In the meanwhile I'm sure more recordings will pop up.
|
Excellent Jef, I look forward to it!
|
I can't see this on Ultra Eczema's site and didn't see it for sale at OTO. Jef was this on sale last night?

Oh damn, I think it was. I thought it was the Fever 7". It had some collage artwork with a neil young picture. Didn't bother to pick it up, should have. |

Oh no Stu... I didn't know about that Body/Head Ultra Eczema single. Now I'm not going to be able to sleep until I get it!

Hello, first this'll be my first post. But secondly (and maybe more important), I was at the show last night in Hasselt. It was a great performance, liked it a lot. I also purchased the new Body/Head 7". I took some quick pics about it. Hope you guys like them.

Thanks for the photos. How limited is this record? |
I have no idea, didn't ask it yesterday. I will try to post a better pic of the credits inside. The record will indeed also be on sale today in Antwerp.
Ps: thanks for the record from Cafe Oto! |
ok, so it doesn't mention the edition size on the cover?
|
Not that I can see. It is labeled as Ultra Eczema 124.
|
I like the artwork. Thanks for the pics!
|
By the way, does anybody know the name of the film that was projected in the background during Body/Head's performance at Café Oto (Or was it a collage of very many random images)? Also, what was the role of the Kenny McCormick thingy on Dylan Nyoukis' rig? :)
|
Quote:
I think the film was The Driver. As for Kenny, well Dylan wound it up during his performance and it walked around on the table for a bit before falling to the floor. |

By the way, I hate that I can't never rep you. |
here are some better pics of the body/head 7". I also took a close-up of the credits.
