the first SYrecord of mine was Goo. and it is really nostalgic (especially cos me and a friend who moved and we rarely hang out anymore used to jam some songs from it constantly...) so i love it.

I never really noticed the song too much... but ever since I saw them play Skip Tracer live.... I have just fallen for it... its an amazing song.

And well... the Into the groove(y) (madonna cover) is pretty cool too

I know other posters have mentioned this one, but I just realized how much I fuckin' love Sweet Shine. Bone is another good one from that album.

I love that song. Sure it's ridiculous and self-indulgent and rambling and doesn't make sense. But it's also atmospheric and humorous and oddly accessible and memorable for such an off-the-cuff experiment.

I don't hate it, I love it! I have talked about this a few times before already, but that transition Steve makes from high-hat to ride around the 2:00 mark gets me every time.

speaking about I Dreamed I Dream. rehearsal version of it is fucking awesome...Where The Red Ferns Grows. another one which nobody ever get mention here is Moonface on the 2nd disc of Dirty deluxe. you know instrumental, or rehearsal version of JC. such a great tune. it has everything SY represents.
