i used to think radiohead was SO cool. but come on, man. its miley. even though i dont know either one of them, i think that was just so uncool for them to do that.

oh yea by the way, OK Computer sucks!

Derek 03.07.2009 12:54 PM

OK Computer does indeed suck.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 03.07.2009 01:12 PM

The question you have to ask yourself is WWSYD?

And the answer is they'd meet her and then write a song about her.

nicfit 03.07.2009 01:35 PM

They like Lindsey better.

I realize that she did pose topless............ but she's still a kid and the people that suggested she do so should be ashamed. I doubt that she walked into the studio and suggested she get her top off all on her own.

(And no, I'm not of the mind-set that children are precious, holy little angels. However, adults doing questionable/inappropriate things to/with kids just leads to more fucked up adults. I don't think ya'll need me to tell you that.)

They went to SP to meet Cartman and look what happened there.

It's a shame about this thread. It's strangely restrained. I suppose everyone's holding back so as not to appear as either A) a nerdy "I hate Radiohead" snobby indie-kid stereotype or B) a ped.

pbradley 03.07.2009 07:13 PM

a few of us like Radiohead but not enough to care one way or another about Miley Cyrus' feelings.

dionysusundone 03.08.2009 11:39 AM

I hope that in 3 years when Miley's old enough I'm in her favorite band.

Would it help if I said "I totally would now, let alone in 3 years"?

I absolutely fucking hate Radiohead and I want to bang Miley Cyrus and some 12 year olds for good measure. Oh, and I think Hitler was right about everything.

Glice 03.08.2009 12:19 PM

Fuck you, tosshorse.

I love Radiohead and would happily have them all over for tea and cakes and then a fist-circle. I own all of their records, I tell people loudly that the Iron Lung EP should've been an album and I have tapes of them doing Rhinestone Cowboy and Union City Blue.

I can't disagree with the Hitler bit though, he was a tasty one.

vulva 03.08.2009 12:21 PM

That's all good and fine, doesn't change that they're a terrible band with one of the worst singers in popular music history.

Glice 03.08.2009 01:27 PM

You're a terrible band with one of the worst singers in popular music history.

And so is your mother.

joe11121 03.08.2009 02:34 PM

I love Radiohead, and I think miley isn't that hot.

demonrail666 03.08.2009 02:44 PM

Is Miley Cyrus better at what she does than Radiohead are at what they do?

What a refreshingly brilliant question.

davenotdead 03.08.2009 03:45 PM

indeed. brilliant question.

and to answer it, I'd say yes.

lechaoscestmoi 03.08.2009 04:02 PM

rather listen to PURPLE RAIN for the 100th time dammit.

uhler 03.08.2009 06:23 PM

"pablo honey" was awful.
"the bends" has my favorite radiohead song on it and a few other good ones. it's boring for the most part though.
"ok computer" is, i think, still a really good album
so is "kid a"
their next album after that was nothing special and the one after that was almost as awful as "pablo honey".

Dr. Eugene Felikson 03.08.2009 06:54 PM

Thom should've stuffed her.

sarramkrop 03.08.2009 07:12 PM

Radiohead won't have a career for much longer, now that Bush is not the USA's president anymore, which means Thom Yorke can shut his gob once and for all. Wishful thinking on my part, I know.

demonrail666 03.08.2009 07:29 PM

Completely off topic, but is Faith Hill still married?

i suppose the next album will be about darfur

SuperCreep 03.09.2009 12:47 AM

Is it me, or did there not use to be so much Radiohead backlash before In Rainbows?

Glice 03.09.2009 12:11 PM

It is just you. I remember the backlash after the Bends. It follows them. It's when there isn't a backlash that they fall out of view.

uhler 03.09.2009 01:00 PM

i think thom york should go back to wearing his bono sunglasses and really baggy cargo pants.

demonrail666 03.09.2009 01:03 PM

It's also fair to say that if you're going to be the guitarist in a band and call yourself Johnny, you'd better be one very suave bastard: Johnny being easily the most RnR name imaginable (or any name that's elongated with a 'y' or an 'ie', for that matter)

Two Johnnys that warrant the 'ny':

One Johnny that simply doesn't:

She needs to be careful the wind doesn't change while she's pulling that pose.

[Sandbag] 03.09.2009 01:35 PM

Derek 03.09.2009 04:07 PM
