Kind of depends. I used to trip to get scared, I think. When I was 19, I totally got off on tripping and listening to shit like "Nerves" by Bauhaus or Kill Yr. Idols (actually that was a little intense the first time, but not too intense!) I also loved climbing around on shit many feet above the ground while hallucinating the stars all falling from the sky. The more scared I got, the bigger the rush, and the often the more it made me smile.

But, in retrospect, I was a dumb self-destructive kid, and I totally hope my son isn't like that (though I won't be surprised or a jerk about it if he is to some degree...)
