What about the deaths of friends Crypto was experiencing for a while? Meaning no disrespect to Crypto, but that was a little disturbing, if not exactly odd, to hear about so many young kids dying in succession like that.

What's really creepy is I hooked him up with a lot of rare sonic mp3s over PM. Hopefully he didn't get off on that. Yikes.

Since posting here, my grandma has died and my aunt has died, both incredibly difficult things... I still occassionally posted around those times, but I feel like I post here for fun and to get my mind off things, you know? Plus, even though I know it's well-intentioned, I don't really know what to say when people say they're sorry or that they're thinking about me or that I'm in their hearts or they're praying for me... you know, except for "thanks".

About the 50 year old pedo... He wanted me to meet up with him in Denver once when I mentioned here on the board that I was visiting there. Maybe he thought he'd found a kindred spirit!

He was weird, because from the beginning he claimed to be a newcomer to Sonic Youth's music. For a while he asked about recommendations of what to buy and would post excited reports about the Sonic Youth CDs he was listening to. As if he only discovered them AFTER landing here.

It made me think that he stumbled on here by accident while surfing on the key word "youth" or something like that.

That was a hard one for me to deal with too, what to say when people offer condolences. I learned just to say thank you, and I realized they're doing it either because they genuinely feel sorry for me or they're simply uncomfortable and don't know what else to say. In either case, by simply saying "thank you" you relieve them and yourselves of any awkwardness.

I'll answer the phone at anytime of the day. Unless I see on the caller ID that it's someone I don't wish to speak to/see. Talking on the phone when you just wake up is really funny.

I never payed too much attention to the whole prank calling chabib, although I remember it being talked about.

Death threats are fun though, I make at least one everyday.

it's funny when someone calls me and it wakes me up and i answer because i get extremely abusive when people wake me up (it's nothing personal, it's just my subconscious half-asleep reaction.)
