im an asshole every day. i don't know if you realize, but most societies don't allow people to do as they wish. let's see: in england, you'd be stuck with your accent in a social class in france, your job would be predestined for you from kindergarten in israel, you'd be in the army in latin america, you'd be buried in gossip & on & on the life you live, thank your american passport for it. |
Cantankerous is too flighty and flea-blinking to be American. I think there was a mix-tape at the lop-lop.
|
actually i like that i was born in america
because you know why? i don't have to work due to being a privledged snot. which means i don't have to pay taxes. which means i'm not giving the gov't permission go all robin hood and to steal from me and give my money to homeless crackheads who didn't do shit to earn it. which means i get to keep it all and go wherever the hell i please and do whatever i want without being stuck in a social class. |

see? right there. you're 100% american and you couldn't be from anywhere else. what you call my assholity is merely your inability to immediately comprehend my long vision. |
Frankly, I'm staggered.

come to think of it--
wasn't gatsby from st. louis too?? |
No.

film version of a clockwork orange is much better than the book. just while we're on the subject of book/movies i thought i'd throw that in. |
I think the real issue here is Danny Himself and what can he do to help us, what can we do to help him, and where is his place in society? etc.
|
Yeah. Something everyone should read at least once in their life.

no fucking WAI. i love movies, but this is no match. |

your problem is that you're ignoring the important issues here

I think Alan Ladd nailed it in the film. |

Maybe it's just me, but Cantanky comes accross as clearly being American from her posts. That's why I like her.
