Oh, by the way, the Roundhouse isn't sold out - you just need to be patient and persistent.
I know this because right now I have two tickets in my basket and am at the checkout stage. But I'm probably going to put them back on the shelves. |

Yeah right. That reminds me of something :p |

Yeah it's a pain at how slow the site is going. |

mine timed out and released my tickets because they'd been in my basket too long. That's because the site is working so fucking slow! Thought I was there then... I really think attaining tickets for gigs is the worst thing in the world ever.
|
What I was going to post: Don't worry, there are sixty+ tickets for sale on ebay.
What I am posting: Keep trying, you'll get there eventually. |
I was up at 9 trying to get tickets for manchester and london and i have none. I feel raped and cheated.
|
and I am, thanks! That was way too stressful though.
|
ordered my tickets this morning,#
oh yeah! |
the lung - like we've just done you can still get tickets for london thru the roundhouse website... It is a complete hassle - but they normally send your tickets out to you early from roundhouse directly, which i like

2 more, apparently both sold out already |
Yeah they are.
Think I might mug a tout. |
There was one at the DDN shows who was particularly deserving of a good punching. He looked and acted rather like Steptoe (as in Steptoe and Son). If you mug a tout, please make sure it's him.
Which begs the question, why have ticketless fans at a show never ganged up and given touts the good kicking that they so richly deserve? You'd think it would happen quite a lot, wouldn't you? |

I've no idea to be honest. I think about it all the time. Fuckin junkies they are. I'm so tempted to go to Manchester and mug on in June. |

NOT sold out. You can go to the Roundhouse site and buy standing tickets for the second and third shows in London. Also, many people outside the UK will probably start offloading their tickets when MBV starts showing up on the bill for for Primavera etc... <---- that's just a guess, but not exactly an unlikely one. (like with DDN) |
The twat!! I tried buyong a ticket through the phone and he said it had sold out. I'll try again.
|
Just go onto the website like I told you to.
|
Rang the number and I've got one standignt icket for Saturday. JOY AND HAPPINESS!! Thanks for the heads up man.
|
I don't understand why they don't just announce two dates in the first place, and let everyone have the choice of dates from the very start. It's hardly as if the first one wouldn't sell out, is it? If I'd had the choice between Friday and Saturday right from the very start... well, let's just say I wouldn't have chosen Friday.
|
have bilinda, colm and debbie confirmed they are part of the reunion?
what if it's just kevin shields and a few hired hands? |
![]() this poster kinda ties the not. BUT theres something else the tickets are sold out the tickets are sold ou MOTHERFUCKERS!!!! |
Quote:
haha, that would be the best thing ever! like the smashing pumpkins "reunion". they appear on the poster though.. and in that vice interview he mentions something about them "all being back together". ....without mentioning names. nobody knows who was and who wasn't still in my bloody valentine in 1996 anyway. |
Quote:
oh well, i don't think they'd let you past the airport security check anyway. |
Quote:
agreed :D |
keep the faith, buzzo.
if they're going to release a new album then it's not unlikely that they're going to promote it outside the uk as well... unless they hate touring or can't find anyone to feed the cats or something. |
By the time MBV will get their act together and put a record out Buzzo will be a grandfather.
|
could be an idea for a day trip with the grandchildren.
|
The problem is that by then he will have developed a deep fascination with the glitchcore revival, so the grandchildren will do his head in all day with the constant chat about Kevin Shields' frail appearance on stage.
|
you think glitchcore classics vol.1 will be out before the new mbv album?
|
apparently it's going to be kevin shields, mani from the stoner roses on bass, bobby gillespie on the other guitar and reni from the stone roses on drums, plus the girl from the kills doing the female vocals.
|
That's basically an incarnation of Primal Scream + the girl from The Kills, whose other member goes out with Kate Moss, who is a good friend Gillespie, so that might have something to do with it. The core members of this line-up have played live together before, thefore this is cheating on people left, right and centre.
|
It's the Primrose Hill MBV!
|
i never understand them having gig posters for sold out gigs.
|
So we have Primal Scream playing MBV, yeah? When I saw The Scream with Kevin Shields as part of the band it was fucking brilliant. To me this actually bodes well.
|
yeah, but it's not mbv, after all.
|
I can't believe how quickly tickets have sold out. I thought that MBV were a relatively cult concern...
|
woo fuckers
had them posted to my boyfriends uncle |
