Cannabis tea (also known as weed tea or pot tea) is an infusion of cannabis--usually the leaves of the plant, in hot water. This method of ingesting cannabis yields low psychoactive effects, as tetrahydrocannabinol, the primary psychoactive agent in cannabis, is not a water-soluble compound. Dissolving the active ingredient THC in lipids i.e. fats (for example: butter,milk) or alcohol (as in Green Dragon) is more effective for psychoactive purposes. While water based tea is generally not very efficient, using milk, which has a higher fat content, proves to be more effective. This technique has been used for thousands of years in India, and is referred to as bhang, which is tea mixed with cannabis. Because of its smokeless form of ingestion, it is preferred by some as a method of using the plant for medicinal purposes.

yeah i did half milk half water and a little butter just in case
then i steeped the weed mixed with tea for an hour or so. when it came time to drink it, it just tasted nasty and i would have thrown up. so i just tossed it.

Nah, it is easy crap. It is just the first draft, and my English teacher is pathetic. We hardly do anything in that class, and I don't think she really reads any of our work. I can write something craptastic in half an hour and turn it in and be okay.

But for real, that class is sad. I hate it. I love English, but this teacher is pathetic. I've not learned anything. Our entire grade is basically based on our vocab words. There is another English teacher that is, from the sounds of it, really rigorous. I wanted her, but I'd have to drop AP Chem or Speech and Debate to be able to be in her class, and those to classes only have one period. So I'm all locked up.

Fun. My teacher is cool. The class is sort of hard, but not that difficult. It doesn't require a lot of work. The homework is optional, and I'm opting to do none of it this quarter. I have like...an A- because I bombed one test, but the teacher takes off your lowest test score at the semester.

For Halloween, he took a carved pumpkin with a hole in the back of it. Hooked up a tube to the gas valve, lit a match in front of the tube, and stuck it in the pumpkin. So we had a flaming jack-o-lantern. It was really fun. I just have been procrastinating. The essay was assigned a week ago. Hahaha.

damn that does sound fun. i've always hated all my chem teachers since 8th grade, yet it's always been my favorite subject. the work isn't too hard but my teacher sucks at explaning shit. the tough part is the IB grading system, which seriously messes with my average

yeah i'm doing history higher for IB and my teacher's really bad, but he's such a nice dude, i can't be angry with him.

That sucks. I love my teacher. He is just about the first history teacher that has ever made me actually think rather than just memorize dates and events, and it is actually a lot more enjoyable this way. He's a really cool guy too.

yeah all my teacher does is make completely incoherent powerpoints that are so difficult to focus on. i miss the days of class discussion and debate.

that's funny, your AP classes are basically the same as the higher courses i'm taking. my class names aren't so specific though. i'm doing other world history as well as US history, and just a general english class that covers language and composition.

hah yeah i guess so. my school's tiny (50 or 60 per grade) so there's not a lot of school spirit and excitement.

My school has 3700 people. About 925 people per grade. Everyday I see people at that school that I've never seen before.

yeah i know there's no one at my school. i'm used to it seeing as how i've been there since kindergarden. it's kinda nice to know everyone in the school by name. plus you can get pretty close to teachers too.

Yeah, I wish my school was smaller. My school was designed for only 2700 people. It is incredibly crowded. I hate it. There is a new high school being opened I think next year (actually it may be the year after, in which case it won't matter to me) so hopefully things won't be so bad.

there's a lot of construction shit being done to my campus now. they're building a new underground theatre and big library. the campus is usually beautiful (someone used to live on the land we're on so there's lots of gardens and trees and stuff) but it's been swamped by machines and construction workers for the past year. the additions won't be finished until after i graduate which sucks.

That sucks. My school is by these orange groves. You can't smell the oranges, but you can smell the manure when the put it down.

hah gross. i don't really mind not having the theatre cause i never participate in any plays or school productions. i'm bummed out by the library though cause they've turned the old library into classrooms so all our books are in storage. i'm missin bein able to just getting books outta there cause the selection was pretty sweet.

Bleh. I ended up not getting Milk-Eyed Mender because I didn't have enough money (though I could've borrowed from my friend) and I wanted to get food.

My library's selection sucks. My local library has a crappy selection too. I usually end up buying books on Amazon or from Barnes and Noble.

I'm getting married this weekend, so this whole week is going to be busy, busy, busy!!!

my weekend is a bit of a blur. just busy mostly, although i was pretty loaded when i got home last night.

just came back from a long afternoon of eating and drinking with friends.
