True, but the calendar also lists Biddinghuizen/Lowlands festival as being in Belgium, so I wouldn't worry about it too much for now. Surely Pukkelpop will know what they have booked.

Sonic Youth added to the Lowlands site now; band write-up doesn't mention anything about Daydream Nation... which leaves a nice opportunity to do a DDN gig at a club venue on the 20th or 21st, right? OK, that's wishful thinking probably, but hope dies last. What else could they be doing during those 2 days? A couple of shows in Scandinavia? 1-2 extra shows in the UK? A bicycle trip around the Flevopolder?

is there any news/plans of a live cd or DVD release of one of the DDN performances???

Keep this under your hat, but I've heard on the grapevine that Thurston is hoping to buy a windmill for Coco while he is over in Europe. He could be busy pursuing that aim during the two days off.

I'd respect him more if he was building his own! That shouldn't really be too hard if he gets the rest of the band to help him.


Anyway, Pukkelpop is now added on the SY site as being DDN while Lowlands is not, so I think we can be sure now.
