Rothko, if memory serves, have or had three bassists at one point. Their website (http://www.rothkomusic.co.uk/) doesn't mention it, but listening to their myspazz suggests that they are, indeed, a 3-bass band.

God Terminal Cheesecake Deity Guns, I think were French, and Lee produced their album Ganger (check out their classic album, Hammock Style) How about Ornette Coleman? He often plays live with 2 basses. Does he count? I too can confirm the new live Fall line-up is pretty bass-heavy! |

there's a really good noise/sludgey/math rock (hate that name) band in the early- mid 90s called Milkmine that had nothing but 2 bass and 1 drummer. great stuff!!
