He wasn't Carol Tristano, and he didn't know Lennie from a hole in the ground. "Tristano" was his supposed password? This has gotta be more mind games. The guy never expressed that he gave a rat's ass for jazz, let alone the esoteric Manhattan School!
Strange fucker, that one. He writes in these incomplete ambiguous fragments with a penchant for personalized punctuation. And of course, that's just the tip of the annoying iceberg. True, he wasn't all bad and he did make attempts to become more legitimate after being shamed in the past. Bottom line: Dude was a fucking cancer. Oh, and it was plain as day that he was about the most jealous person I've ever come into contact with online. I could cite examples, but all that needs to be known is the thread in which he irrationally and groundlessly attacked Chris Habib's art; and it happened in a rare moment when he was sharing with us a little. Inhuman (or whomever), do you really have possession of that account right now? |

That's weird, I'm reading a Stipe biography right now.
|
Does the biographer write anything about Chickasaw Mudd Puppies (or Brant Slay) in there?
Pylon? Just want to see if they get any mention, that's all. |
Anyway, the new password is sonic18.Apparently some really sad prick sent it to me again.Have a go at being porkmarras and try to piss the world off if you you can.Chances are that you're just:

Hehe. This thread has some serious arse licking posts. Did I miss something?

Just more teasing.
All talk no action as usual. |

"try to piss the world off if you can?" you know, I was under the impression that was the manifesto of the people you didn't like, porkmarras, you know, flamers, not as in internet flamers, but as in your stereotypical homosexual flamers. I'm no one to accuse someone of arrested development but, sheesh! Jeez, Louise! |

Make your next post start "Yeah, whatever" and end with the word "statement". |
Yeah, whatever.
I would be most honored to have his account entrusted to me if there is any truth to your statement. |
Say something really weird.

Okay, whatever, craziness. Forget it. It shouldn't take this long.
I'm into the Burnside now anyway. I started to drift away a bit during track 5, "shake 'Em on Down" and went looking for my sole Lightnin' Hopkins bootleg to share back (Hey, listen to this! haha) and all I found was Lightning Bolt bootlegs and releases. I am a bit troubled that I can find it nowhere. The problem withthe Lightnin' Hopkins (4/10/81 Tramp's NYC) before was I ashamedly didn't know all of the track names because the setlist wasn't posted with it. (I used to have a cassette of a good (not great) live one too) Now, I can't find the recording at all. It's truly great. I have so many discs and it's one of my absolute favorites to play. This Burnside has some flashes of brilliance, especially in the some of the slide guitar playing, but the drummer's fills are bugging me a bit. Good listen, even though his "Well, well, well, thank ya'll, thank ya'll"s after every single song is starting to freak with me a little. |
