as lynch is my all time favorite director and i think all of his films have been better than the one before it, i'll go ahead and say i bet that it's his best film.

Jesus spelling and grammar nazis. No one even noticed the fact that I'd spelled incredible incerdible. Now it's changed...I'm dissapointed in all of you...

sorry..didnt read your posts above, porkybaby on film..because as usual, want to watch this completely pure.
never leave with feeling of lacking explanations of his films, i just inhale his aesthetics and cool weirdness of shots.

Wild at Heart is pretty cool. You should check it out. Great performance by Willem Defoe.

I bought season 1 five years ago, and have been waiting for season 2 to be released ever since. It's about time...

so, hey, season 2 did come out, and they're releasing a gold box set soon with season 1/2/the pilot, and i finally saw inland empire and it was at least more FUCKED-UP than the film he'd made before this one, but man... what a mess.. it was good.. it was just a bit too .. i dunno.. the ending sequence and the "locomotion" and the walking around listening to beck.. all the stuff with the hookers was just terrible..

davenotdead 08.22.2007 01:31 AM

i like IL better than lost highway for sure...and i hated mulholland drive when i saw it, but im going to see it again soon...then i can make a proper judgement...

atsonicpark 08.22.2007 05:54 AM

ah... mulholland drive is godhead..

There were definitely parts that I wanted to enjoy a lot more than I actually did. I thought some of the hooker stuff was funny. But some of it wasn't. And none of it was really any better than that.

The rest was really fun to watch. It was pretty intense, and very creepy. I liked it.

sarramkrop 08.22.2007 08:31 AM

atsonicpark 08.22.2007 01:38 PM
