Savage Pencil is great. He was a complete cock when I tried to talk to him though. Just a total, total twat.
I was the other (first) person that voted the debut.

Yes I do, and a lovely little thing it is too.

The only thing that i remember about that Groening one is that it had,i think,Royal Trux on it.

The debut is great. Strange Days is like the debut only slightly more psychedelic, and darker. Plus I love that cover--the Doors appear only in that poster in the background. |
It's all about Strange Days for me.....The Doors have been one of my favorite bands since I was a child and fell in love with music. I love everything and have a buttload of boots.
I've been wondering about Waiting for the Sun. Haven't heard it, wondering if it's worth adding to the collection. Seems to create some division of opinion among Doors fans.
Oh hell yeah man, get it ASAP....Love Street! Summer's Almost Gone! Yes, the River Knows! Not to Touch the Earth! YES YES YES!!!!
I fuckin love the Doors!!! I used to get stoned and listen to them all the time. Ah, the good ol' days.
Welp, those last two endorsements are good enough fer me, then!
no!
Also, NO! Emphatically. A handful of good songs. Mostly utter cock!
Not to Touch the Earth is a kickin' tune. Hello, I Love You, Spanish Caravan, The Unknown Soldier & Five to One are very good ones on that record as well.
The Soft Parade is the one that's less of a must if one is prioritizing; it's probably their weakest. Morrison Hotel is noticeably absent from the poll. |
