Yes, those things might affect me at some point, but at the moment they don't affect me as much as education or as directly as education.

k-krack 08.16.2006 09:05 PM

I see what you mean, disagree as i may.

GeneticKiss 08.16.2006 11:38 PM

I chose everything except Education, Malnutrition, and Immigration.

Cantankerous 08.17.2006 02:07 AM

they are all important in their own way.

Tokolosh 08.17.2006 03:16 AM

A good upbringing and education is where it all starts.

jon boy 08.17.2006 03:19 AM

i think poverty is a reason why a lot of bad things happen in the world. certainly a few on there so we should eradicate that.

alyasa 08.17.2006 03:22 AM

Are you kidding me? All of them, of course.

Just because I choose to still eat meat doesn't mean I don't care. It's more of the constant search for resources (some of which are reusable, yet we choose not to) and constant development of wild areas that concerns me. I don't understand why people keep destroying forests that are beautiful and turn them into desolate wastelands, and instead of trying to replant, they just move onto another one and destroy that.

Also, in the case of the animal world, it's a shame that many creatures that have been of interest to many will probably be gone in about 30 years (like Polar bears, believe it or not). That is what concerns me.

Tokolosh 08.17.2006 09:17 AM

Ha! You're pretty aggressive for a vegan Hayden? :D
I wouldn't want to know what happens, if you ate a bloody T-bone steak.

LittlePuppetBoy 08.17.2006 09:19 AM

I wonder what his reasons are for being a vegan then.

gmku 08.17.2006 11:44 AM

touch me i'm sick 08.17.2006 11:44 AM

It's better for you. I'm only concerned for myself. Fuck everyone else.

It is probably my lack of protein.

.

not exactly. If your a vegan for your entire life, then you can suffer from stunted growth, since you don't get the healthy amount of protien you get from meat. And you can't get vitamin B12 from anything that isn't from an animal (it's an ESSENTIAL nutrient).

I choose to eat meat for nutritional reasons, since humans are naturally omnivores anyway, and none of the animals I eat are endangered, at risk of becoming endangered or cannot be bred easily.

I'm 6'5" 185lbs. I'm not real concerned about stunted growth.

You're still a hypocritical cunt. Realize this and I'll acknowledge your existence.

That's what I voted as well, since I also am also a reasonably intelligent person.

Eating a dirty Mc Donalds veggie burger is a good enough reason to go on a killing spree. Don't forget your vitamin B6 & B12 supplements. They are crucial.

alteredcourse 08.18.2006 04:28 AM

i voted for individual liberty , and saw that it is currently the most popular vote . is that maybe because it all starts with ourselves ? that trying to think of societies as whole units is actually getting us running in circles , and that it all the issues on the poll are affected by each unit , and not the herd , ultimately ?

porkmarras 08.18.2006 04:29 AM

gay rights

sonicl 08.18.2006 04:33 AM

I've voted individual liberty, because I see that as being about respect for self and respect for others, and, somewhat idealistically I know, I like to think that mutual respect would engender a climate from which all the others concerns would be naturally addressed.
