They make you feel guilty when they have dogs. There's a hobo in Liverpool that has a really cute puppy. How did he afford one if he's homeless? |
And they should be reported to the RSPCA for how they treat their pets.
|
I'm sorry but.....

Is that Ian Brown? |
No he's Russell Brand.

That fucking tosser? He does my head in. And he gets all the sexy ladies too. Bastard.
|
Did anyone else notice Ian Brown's cameo appearance in one of the Harry Potter movies?
|
But he's funny.

they are inescapable in berlin. they get on the trains, if you are in a cafe or restaraunt they play at your table until you pay them to go away, they are in the streets everywhere and they are as annoyning as a maggot in your dinner.
|
The Violent Femmes used to busk. I'd throw them a dollar.
|
i usually give them something because they actually DO something to earn money and not just come up to you and ask for it... those people annoy me (they dont do anything) and that's why the others are less annoying :D
|
Yeah, i will too, if they're good. But there are some real stinkers. Plus, since I work downtown, it could start getting expensive doing that every day.

there's this guy in my neighboorhood that goes around and just gives people compliments. i've only ran into him once and he complimented my outfit. but yeah he's a legend in dc

that's a nice thing to do. i usually write compliments on toilet doors or tables in trains. things like 'you're looking nice today' etc.. |
I am more likely to pay attention to people who play something that isn't guitar or sax, and especially if they DON'T SING.
I'll give people money just for having the good sense to keep their mouths shut and play some music. |
there's a very good violin player in my city. he's been there as long as i can remember, and when we were younger we always asked our mother for some money to give him (she's a violin player herself so she usually gave some)
|
i have seen maybe two buskers that i liked. one on a winters day in the u-bahn when it was snowing and cold and she played a really sad piano piece that echoed through the station and everyone shut up. and a guy playing trumpet in a park in berlin again. it was cold and getting dark and it was lovely. he wasnt really playing for money, just to play i think. i went all a floppy one when i heard that.
|
With the exeption of one or two buskers that I thought were okay I'd say that they're all urban attention seekers.
