It's pretty horrible. I can't stand to watch the news anymore.
Things are mostly back to normal here in Tokyo. Very little structural damage.
Anybody heard from the lad who lives up north? Hope he's alright.

a part of a nucliar installation is exploded
because of the cooling sytem that failed

1. it's not a good idea to built a nucliar reactor in a high earthquake zone
2. nucliar installations are not safe, like now with that cooling system

chernobil is still under heavy radiation and other places where the russian have done test with nucliar bombs
- all the water is contaminated
- all the joung born childeren are sick, genetic destruction

it's a real nightmare for the people living in those places
it's far from normal and hard to imagine
the damage done the future of those people

only to push forward the military enveloppe in the days of the cold war

for what?

all paranoid politics

big explosion at a nuclear power plant, not good news to say the least! really hoping this isn't going to be another Chernobyl.

DeadDiscoDildo 03.12.2011 05:17 PM

This nuclear power plant situation is freaking me out.

I don't know ATON about science, but what's the worst case scenerio here?

Isnt it one of the bigger/biggest power plants or am I wrong about that?

Glad to hear you are safe.

This is terrible, I watched the videos of all the cars being swept away yesterday. I can't watch anymore.

worse case scenario would be a meltdown and lots of nuclear particles entering the atmosphere. as well as the immediate area it would also decimate much of eastern japan. i heard that cesium already entered the atmosphere which contains alpha, beta and gamma types of radiation. gamma is the worst as it penetrates just about everything and causes the most harm. if that gets into the atmosphere then its bad bad news.

thats a worst case scenario, we are not looking at a mushroom cloud here. i am sure that every effort is being made.

good to know you're safe.
i've thought of you the other day

tesla69 03.13.2011 01:57 PM

as the bringer of worst news, I offer this:

Experts noted, however, that even a complete meltdown would probably be far less severe than the 1986 disaster at Chernobyl, where a reactor exploded and sent a cloud of radiation over much of Europe. That reactor, unlike the ones in Fukushima, was not housed in a sealed container.

atsonicpark 03.13.2011 02:53 PM

glad to know you're okay, hat.

ME., are you okay?!

kinikinikinik 03.13.2011 03:11 PM

the japs will remain stoical and calm instead of hysterical, then rebuild it all more safely. then they will make hentai where the tsunami comes out of the womans vag and engulfs the horny robodroid. then they will fap, fap, fap until all the pain is gone.

jon boy 03.13.2011 09:35 PM

its interesting to see the reporting of this disaster in relation to the one in haiti.

DeadDiscoDildo 03.14.2011 12:07 AM

^^What are you trying to say?

I saw TONS of reports on Haiti all over the news.

Or do you mean the attitude of it all?

Btw, seems like people are forgetting all about the new zealand quake that happened like a week or two ago...

and now a volcano has gone off in southern japan...

i meant the reporting of it. at first the haiti disaster was about the disaster but seemed to turn into something else, like how violence was going to spread throughout the whole country and there would be widespread further blood loss.
