a good portion of black folks rich and poor alike feel entitled because they were so fucking absolutely disenfranchised for literally 400 years! Regardless of how much people today feel absolved, that much structured history affects the present and future, that much cultural baggage can not be abandoned at the drop of a hat..

1860s-1970s


The real question is why do people feel so threatened by black people feeling entitled and even black nationalism/power when there is clearly a debt in history? Is it that hard to face reality with a smile without getting defensive or bitter?
