Face it we've all pretty much been drunk or have drank before our 21 st. So that's why it's imperative (imho) that you get sloopy drunk puke, eat to sober up a bit then get laid....

here in belgium you can legally get alcohol at the age of 16... i've never been drunk though, the smell of alcohol is so repulsive to me i can't even be bothered to taste it.

Rob Instigator 09.17.2009 02:04 PM

the "results" of alcohol are so repulsive to me I. . .

also very true. thank god i'm usually among people that understand and respect this, no mater how much they drink themselves (people my own age seem to be like that, my youngest brother thinks i'm stupid for not drinking and my mother thinks i'm just being cross, she has her glass of wine every day and to her not wanting to drink alcohol is completely abnormal)

Rob Instigator 09.17.2009 02:24 PM

it is hard. For some reason, most people don't seem to trust a person who will not drink, which is flat out STUPID, but it seems to be the case.
It takes me a while to break through to them, and to get them to let their guard down around me. Once they get over the whole "he is not drinking he must be a narc or a psycho" thing then they ease up and everyone has a great time.

why is it that people do not trust someone who either cannot or does not want to inbibe poison?

ploesj 09.17.2009 02:30 PM

it's probably because alcohol has become such a part of life for adults, it's something you're supposed to find interesting as a kid, it's a part o many adult rituals (toasting champagne on new year's eve or during celebrations and stuff like that). people who don't join in these rituals seem to set themselves apart from the norm, which is poison.

humanity, it's a strange thing!
