i took a full beer can off the side of the head at the reverend horton heat, then this girl who I was there with almost got in a cat fight in the moshpit with the girl who threw it... everyone got mad at me for fucking up the moshpit.

At a six organs of admittance show with a friend. We were talking in-between band changes and as Ben Chasney and his female guitarist are right next to us my friend (oblivious to how he is sounding) says: ''Well man, I feel obligated to her because she let me fuck her in the ass, a lot!''

Chasney and guitarist just sorta ducked their heads and got on stage to set up, they had to have heard him, he is LOUD.

Last night of drinking I ended up at some outside party filled to the brim with douchbags but the band was all right so I stood in front of their speaker and hit on the back up singers.

Now my ears are ringing along with my general hangover.

my mom got drunk and hit on the whole band. my "best friend" buddied up with her minus the booze. i was told to just come by myself next time to the venue.

I was at a RevCo show and close to the front behind two punkettes, one a short angry looking chick an the other a hefty bruiser. They did NOT appfreciate people crowdsurfing. I was just trying to keep people's boots from hitting me in the face and shit. These two chicks would either twist the ankles of the crowdsurfers all ugly and shit mad as fuck, or theu would take off their shoes and throw them on stage. I am holding up some dude whose flailing about and the bruiser sees me holding up homeslice and she gets enraged and slams my face with an elbow, HARD, and I drop the lower half of that dude on my head, and in the middle of the white light pain I threw an open palm kinda hard at the back of her head as I turned around to get something for the blood.
she broke my nose. I never hit anyone much less girls but reflex took over.

I have lots:

1. I got a water bottle thrown at my chest by the lead singer of Sunburned Hand of the Man. Everyone looked at me wondering what I would do, and I just deadpanned it.

2. i got drunk at a concert that I took a girl I liked. I went outside and threw up and pretended like nothing happened. Then (the band playing was fucking crazy) this guy picked me up in the pit and carried me to the other end of the venue. It was terrible. On the way out, the girl stepped in my vomit and didn't notice.

3. At a GWAR show, a girl asked me to pick her up. I misunderstood and thought she wanted me to push her forward, which I did. Then she explained what she meant. It took me forever to figure out how to get her above the crowd. The second I did, she fell right on her head.

4. Costas ran into the crowd while he was covered with his own shit and vomit. I was too fucked up to move and he slathered me with it

5. I threw up at a Malkmus show right in front of Stevie right when he finished. I met him moments after telling him how much I enjoyed the show with total barf breath.

There are many more. Most of them involve vomit. Glad I can handle my liquor better these days.

last sonic youth show i went to, i was waiting outside the venue. lee was going in and out with equipment. at one point he saw my shirt, started going on and on about how cool it was, and asked if he could take a picture of it with his phone. so i'm standing there, posing, while everyone else in line is staring at me.
