If we could just convince you to feel the same way about everything else the board would be a better place.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 11.27.2008 12:43 AM

I don't think Sex Pistols should be anywhere on the list, but whatever.

Yeah. Bat Chain Puller should have made it, though I'm not all too surprised it didn't.

It really surprised you that the greatest musical genius of our generation was overlooked on this board?

Danny Himself 11.27.2008 06:36 AM

No James Brown? No Lynrd Skynrd? YOU CALL THAT A 70'S TOP 50?

For shame, sonic youth gossip.

gualbert 11.27.2008 06:40 AM

Agreed. Way too much white male guitar stuff. No reggae, hardly any funk or soul. Some gringos out there need to ask themselves if exploration of music is listening to noise or just listening to different types of music. Really.

Might as well just call it a top 50 rock/pop records of the 70's.

atsonicpark 11.27.2008 11:59 AM

repped.

Remember folks... decay starts when growth stops.

radarmaker 11.27.2008 12:04 PM

Oh, the irony.

atsonicpark 11.27.2008 12:11 PM

Trust me, it's more ironic in an Alanis Morisette kind of way and not so much the pure definition of irony.

radarmaker 11.27.2008 12:26 PM

Trust me, it's not.
