jameson is the liquor of gods. I have consumed a fifth of jameson by myself during what my friends and i designated as "whiskey monday." Whiskey monday was inspired by the fact that mondays suck for everyone. So we wanted a way to make mondays awesome. Our solution was stocking up on whiskey and 20 oz pepsi. Then pouring about 1/5 of the pepsi out and replacing it with jameson, wild turkey, or bushmills. One time we did Jack, but it just didnt feel the same. Anyway, we would do this at the beginning of the day, then go to school/work and just keep refilling bottles with whiskey. So eventually, it was a 50/50 mix. After that, we get another 20 oz and repeat the process. After school/work, we buy another bottle of whiskey and wreaked havoc on gainesville.

I miss whiskey mondays.

I like the sound of whiskey Monday. I may instigate that in our house in time for next Monday.

Right now I'm having a port Tuesday. There is nearly nothing in this world that's better than wasting time on a weeknight with a bottle of port.

In terms of this thread - know your limits. I find people who know how to handle their drink are not the people who stop but the people who have a hair's-breadth of sense about them at the right time to get the right taxi/ bus. Luckily for me, I'm rarely more than an hour's walk from home.

Its hard to be really excessive when youre not with others who would prescribe extremities to you. I got quite drunk last weekend at a friends party, and this girl id always liked but never had a chance to speak to had come, and i said hi and we talked for a bit. and I didnt embarress myself or anything but if i hadnt been as drunk as i was i might have been able to make a serious impression rather than looking like some kind of madman which i think i did.
I was mortified about thinking id gone "You know, youre really pretty" to her in a drunken slur, but apparently i didnt thank goodness. Problem is im not likely to see her again, so i probably should have!
