I use alternate tunings about as much as I use standard. My favourite tuning (that I've come up with) is G-A-D-A-D-D.

I dunno, most bands use different tunings at some point.........

MBV does use a lot of different tunings, but most of them aren't radically different from standard. Dropped or raised not here and there.
