I had a hard time convincing a few of them that being from Chicago and having tattoos did not necessarily mean you were in a gang.

They were lovely though, really. People in Ireland, as a general rule, are infinitely nicer and more hospitable than Americans. I miss it.

i know Clane, its in Kildare right?
i work in a store that sell voltage adapters Trunc, i would have given you a good price. i love ireland, i always say t'would be a lovely little country if we could only roof it. i will miss it, cuz i know i aint gonna be here forever.

Yep, about next door to Naas. The people there were wonderful.

Where do you plan on running off to?

i'm confused..

so, truncated is an american.. living in the states..
she stays up all night, drinking coffee..
she's on this board very frequently, except when she's jogging..

truncated, if you don't mind me asking - what do you do for a living?

h8kurdt 06.02.2006 05:44 AM

I dunno I heard it was sinking (or is that somewhere else)

Yes, in fact, it has, at least temporarily. Apologies.

Doesn't Ireland have some kind of contract with Australia regarding work visas and all that? Why do you want to leave, anyhow?

i dunno, i suppose i've lived in Ireland all my 27 years now and i feel there is a time coming when i just wanna go, i cant explain it really but i just foresee a good portion of my life should be somewhere else. this is in no way a kind of "self finding" mission, where as i take off all around the planet in some mad holy grail search, i know exactly who i am and what i'm about and dont need to rack up a million air miles to find out, its more a realisation of the fact that theres a whole load of "world" right outside your door.

h8kurdt 06.02.2006 06:09 AM

Well good for you man and "may all your dreams come true"

Yes, I'm an American. I lived in Ireland for a short time a few years back.

No, I don't sleep much. But most of my time on the board is in the mornings before I go jogging, and during work, when I shouldn't be on here.

I am a 'community events organizer.' So I throw festivals 'n that.

I don't know the results yet, but i think it went well, I dont think I'm gonna fail. I just had to study hard. "Study Hard", somebody should make a song with that name, sort of a home-work anthem:D

Thanks for asking man

truncated 06.02.2006 08:16 AM

candymoan 06.02.2006 08:22 AM

Rupert 'Stiles' Stilinski 06.02.2006 11:32 AM

No one could be happier than I am today!

It's the last day of school, faculty luncheon... I'm moving to France in three months and can leave this old life behind. No responsibility but reading and writing for three months! (And learning French)

And I have a date with a beautful girl that's a really cool actress tonight.

Everything's coming up Milhouse!
