Hahe. Fortunately, in the case of Thor, a picture speaks a thousand words:

I thought that was Moon Knight at first and was trying to work out why he was being a shit to The Thing. Dr Doom (alongside Magneto) was definitely my favourite of the Marvel villians, but i'll always think of Spiderman, Silver Surfer and The Hulk as their greatest characters.

demonrail666 06.11.2008 08:43 AM

I always thought Ghost Rider looked fantastic but his character was so boring. As a friend once commented, "at the end of the day he's just a skeleton on a motorbike."

I started off as a huge John Byrne fan when I was a kid in the late 70's. I followed him from Marvel Team-Up through to his run on the Uncanny X-Men and then through every issue he did of Fantastic Four.

Now my tastes run more along the lines of classic Kirby, Ditko, Neal Adams, and Bill Sienkiewicz. Sienkiewicz's run on New Mutants is one of the greatest since Neal Adams on X-Men.

Sienkiwicz is my favorite.

the first seven issues of THE SHADOW which he drew in 1987-88 were fucking GREAT

mangajunky 06.11.2008 09:55 AM

and he did all that shit without a computer.

Rob Instigator 06.11.2008 10:00 AM

I hate reading the computer colored and drawn comics. they look like glossy shit

And the covers are always far better than the crap inside.

Toilet & Bowels 06.11.2008 10:29 AM
