Haha it's funny you mention this: I was just listening to Spiderland and realised that I need to normalise all the songs way higher. It's such a fuckin quiet album.

what you NEED to do is stop fucking listening to songs on an Ipod
get a turntable, put on spiderland, turn the volume up, and UNDERSTAND why there are such an amazing range of dynamics on that album.

normalizing the songs higher is exactly what slint do NOT want you to do.
