$80 - $100au is the average price for big shows in Aus. Dylan is around $140 though so I havent decided if Ill go or not

$60 is the most i've paid to see sonic youth last year. It was pretty boring, maybe I just had too high an expectations.

£70 to see a tiny Madonna onstage. I could have spent a lot less and gone to G.A.Y., which generally has the same sort of atmosphere that you felt at that gig.

I don't believe I would ever allow myself to pay over $40 for a ticket. I need to pay rent, ya know?

I won't pay extreme prices. Hence why I'm not seeing Dylan even though I love the man. $140 is alot of records I could buy and keep forever.

Aye, The first time I'd seen any of them. Deerhoof blew me away, Beck was fantastic, as was Radiohead...obviously,

120 € for Sonic Youth (it was a big festival)

20 $ for Sonic Youth.

20 $ for Mogwai.

That's about as much money as I can think of.

20 quid for slint, It was worth it. I've been to one or two shows that have been more, but I got them for presents etc...

It's the same here actually, ticket pices for big shows have pretty much doubled since then... but I haven't been to any big shows in recent years. Stadium shows can cost anywhere between €50-€80 nowadays.. that's still cheaper than AU$150 though (which is €95 as I just found out! :eek:). I reckon a band like the Cure would cost about €40 nowadays if they'd play here.

Thinking about going to see the Cure when they come, so that'll be...70, at least, I assume.

Before this, I can't remember ever spending more than like...35? I think that was for Ministry or something similarly eh.

i paid a hell of a lot of money to go to coachella, (however much the fucking weekend pass cost, i think it was over $200 and i paid for two people to go) but all in all i think it was worth it.
