I did like Conan O'Brien's suggestion that he change the name of the band to "Chubby McGoo and the Guys Who Aren't Slash."
Amazing.

And when he jumps off that freighter....ha ha. Thanks Axl.

good one!!!

atari is right, also, he might have had some michael jackson-like skin pigment treatment or something because he is now as orange as his hair used to be on the welcome to the jungle video.

out of the epic brutallities that are the power ballads from use your illusions videos, the worst has to be don't cry.

LifeDistortion 04.28.2006 06:41 PM

Hmm, Micheal Jackson smashing a car and turning into a black panther (not the radical 60's group) comes to mind.-Black and White video

krastian 04.28.2006 07:54 PM

That's a good one too, LifeDistortion. Can't beat the In Living Color spoof either.

John Violence 04.28.2006 09:12 PM

I can't believe that November Rain hasn't been mentioned. Slash is playing a solo in some huge room but when he walks out the place is like twice as small. I never understood why that one guy dives into the wedding cake either.

Excellent pick. I vote for every band that's performed on top of a mountain (I'm looking your way Creed & Metallica, you damn pretentious fucks).

Did you notice during his first solo (in the desert outside of the church) his guitar isn't plugged into anything? That always bothered me.

Neongod 04.28.2006 10:03 PM

Sorry for the triple post but I just watched "Estranged".
Oh snap, Slash did it again (unplugged) and walked on water. Well...in his day I guess that's okay because he was highly regarded at the time, but Axl in the Charlie Manson shirt? Seriously, anyone who thinks Manson contributed one positive thing to society is an uninformed twat.

krastian 04.28.2006 10:23 PM

Yeah, I like G N' R for the most part, but Axl sucks.

Everyneurotic 04.28.2006 10:30 PM

slash is so cool, he can play an unplugged guitar and still wail!!

krastian 04.28.2006 10:37 PM

Slash is amazing.

thewall91 04.29.2006 08:37 AM

Axl's about to tour with the new G'n'R. If I'm not mistaken, he retained rights to the band name, so Chinese Democracy is coming out either soon or out now, and the band is touring. He's excited to play his "new stuff," which explains why i won't go, even for nostalgia's sake. they're doing four nights at hammerstein ballroom mid-may.

fishmonkey 04.29.2006 08:57 AM

Gulasch Noir 04.29.2006 09:01 AM
