I get the initial point.
Who's happy with Bubblegum hopping right after Expressway? |
I kind of concur there; DDN was such a singular masterpiece it does seem kind of inappropriate to tack "extras" on the end. You're not hearing the proper package then - you're hearing a compilation, really.
That said, purists *will* already have the Blast First vinyl and the BF CD, so... |
daydream reissue will be bought by me but i am so dissappointed with the tracklisting tho. i mean i have all the extra tracks and i ws hoping for a singles comp like the dirty reissue... oh well. daydream in its origina form is still worth the admission fee

These are 'fan-club' type requests. The internet has done a lot to make the fan closer to their fave bands but one thing that sems to have sort of disappeared is the conventional fan-club.
Once was a time when you could send off your money, get a badge, a regular(ish) magazine and (usually at around xmas) some fan-club-only record that would feature the type of stuff people have been chatting about on this thread. Shame that with all the advances in technology, the humble fan-club has become something of a thing of the past. |
I've listened to home demo's on albums more than once before. For example, a lot of that stuff Kurt Cobain made that appeared on the With the Lights Out collection were really good and I spent many hours listening to them.
