O SHI-! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to run you over, honest.

Death & the Maiden 08.12.2008 04:13 AM

I've had a dream about SYG too. It wasn't anything specific, I was just spending days on here without breaks and I had an enormous post count.

Cantanky - I imagine it sounding a bit like Nico or Siouxsie Sioux (I'm doubtlessly wrong). I don't have a particularly deep voice, but it's certainly getting a bit hoarse at t'moment due to the ciggies. You easily beat me on the beastly voice front :)

last weekend ive met an old freind of mine, and we started drinkin at 3pm...whiskey and stopped around 3am. we drank 2 bottles of jack daniels and smoked around 100 cigarettes (each) this day. we sounded so damn ace the next day!!!

Cantankerous 08.12.2008 04:21 AM

maybe i'll record myself talking just for the hell of it
talking about what thouhg? i think i would have to read something from something out loud

just imagine a girl's voice but really low and kind of scratchy and nasal to the point that i sound sick ALL the time. and there you go.

MellySingsDoom 08.12.2008 04:24 AM

You could read out something for a rock biog, like the Doors or Led Zep, for example. Cantanky goes spoken word = Win.

Throw in beer and I'd define that as hanging out.

Can I use this for a potential post-rock song?

PS you sound like me with a cold - which is a good thing.

acousticrock87 08.12.2008 05:12 AM

Haha. You actually have a really nice voice. Just not a very enthusiastic reader.

Cantankerous 08.12.2008 05:14 AM

i usually speak in monotone according to...well everyone. i'm really bad at reading out loud, i had to do that like three times.

Thanks muchly. Will have a listen when I'm home later on this evening :)

acousticrock87 08.12.2008 05:17 AM

I'm the same way. Unless I'm acting or singing or something, my voice is always low and monotone. People always tell me to speak up.
