If they'd just implanted ID chips in all Puerto Ricans like I've always campaigned for, this wouldn't be an issue now. Also, you could pull up Google Maps on your iPhone and see if there are any Puerto Ricans around you, that way you can preemptively cross the street without it making you feel awkward.

i go for that, plus they should wear some kind of bright colored clothing so that they are noticeable at all times, plus internet access should be denied via a large magnet implanted in said clothing rendering any electronic equipment unusable thereby giving everyone a bit of peace and quiet.

Rob Instigator 07.01.2010 02:07 PM

you could definitely use that to hit up some fine Puertorrican ladies!

Yeah, plus they should be forced to put their flag all over everything they own for easy nationality identification.

Rob Instigator 07.01.2010 02:24 PM

yeah, cuz that's still funny after 3 years...

aren't they supposed to keep a register of births and deaths at the county office? they never got a social security #? i mean in mainland 'merica-- not sure about PR

Rob Instigator 07.01.2010 02:34 PM

since PR is not actually a state it does not have the exact same local government institutions as in mainland USA. they do have post offices, but local government remains local government. Puerto Rico does not have counties, for example.

all PRicans are born USA citizens and are issued a Soc sec # as well.

do not see why it is so hard to stop people from using PR names to get paperwork.

space 07.01.2010 02:43 PM

or even local Puerto Rican government names like...Kenneth McClintock!

is that how long you have been gay? i thought it was much longer.

Rob Instigator 07.01.2010 03:18 PM

It has been since 1950 that Puerto Ricans and US Virgin Islanders get SocSec Cards.

Much of Puerto Rican government is put in place by Congress.

You mean she had been lying about her age? Or was it that she used her birth certificate as a reminder?

Rob Instigator 07.01.2010 04:56 PM

My grandma was an orphan, and when she was married 80-something years ago, there was no actual birth certificate for her, so they had "guessed" her age. The local repository for her hometown was bu8rned up in the 30's.
when the island government looked into her records a few years ago they notified our family that my grandma was turning 94, not 91 as everyone thought.

Oh right. So she never knew her age?

So she was three years older than you thought not two years?

You'd think they'd be better at safeguarding peoples identities and it seems weird that this was reported overseas from you at first. How did you come across it?
