Aside from the Wire and Homicide the only other thing of his I've seen is Generation Kill, which was also great. As far as I'm concerned The Wire is the bench mark against which all other 21stC TV is judged, so... I don't end up watching that much TV. I'd recommend the book, there's a lot more to it than being the basis for the TV show, I gave up trying to work out who was based on who, because it's not clear. IIRC at the end of the book there's an added afterword where he goes in to how the TV show grew out of the book. |

What I love about that show is that literally everyone is fucking insufferable, and nearly every interaction is deeply uncomfortable to watch, but it still manages to be pretty cozy viewing. |
Parker Posey was amazing in the last season of the white lotus.

You know you may be on the spectrum when friends and family text you asking if you've seen Love on the Spectrum....

This may be old hat to a lot of you but Brand New Cherry Flavour. If you haven't seen it and are someone who enjoys Twin Peaks (OG series), Repo Man, Boots Riley or 90s Greg Araki then I'd say stop reading this and fire up Netflix pronto

The original The Addams Family TV series from 1964.
Quite pleasant to watch, even tough every episode is more or less the same: For some reason a guest arrives, soon enough he is freaked out by the lion walking down the stairs and runs out the door screaming :D |
Also:
Red Dwarf, season 4 I think. Brilliant series. Apparently there's also a book I only know now because I searched here first |

There are like 3 or so novelizations of the show. |
X-Files with my significant other. We needed to see more Duchovny after having enjoyed his appearance as Denise on Twin Peaks during our latest rewatch. We realized none of us has ever actively watched it before. Only I remembered bits and pieces from its original run when I was little. Oh, the 90s - when conspiracy theories were still fun little inspirations for entertaining fiction. Quaint, really. Unfortunate new contexts in these, our fucked up times, aside - really solid writing. And the chemistry between Duchovny and Anderson is right there from the get-go. Fun, so far.
