Yes: it is perfectly acceptable to pressure a foreign government to fork over information vital to an ongoing investigation that itself concerns the national security of the United States.

Is the “value” mentioned above equivalent to giving said country a billion dollars for having people fired? If then Vice President acting on behalf of then President did the same, what’s his consequence? Is his actions excused because he was acting on behalf of the President?

Don’t forget that the actions of then Vice President also led to his son receiving a golden parachute job that made him a millionaire. Do the sins of the father pour down on the son......what are Hunter’s consequences? Must he pay the millions back? (probably not)

What about the information received from the Ukraine Government in exchange for a billion+ from the United States, the information that led to the Black File and was eventually turned into the Steele Dossier. Don’t forget, the Steele Dossier was funded by Crooked Hillary and the DNC. Do they receive consequences for using campaign and government funds to finance such endeavors? (maybe?)

Remember, it was the “made up / fake” information in the Steele Dossier that led to fraud being perpetrated upon the FISA Court. Who is going to jail for lying to a Federal Judge? (anyone?)

Don't forget, it was information in the Steele Dossier that led to the Muller Report. Almost three years and $34 million dollars of wasted time and money to prove our current President did not collude with Russia!!!

However, it was Russia who approached the Trump Campaign with “dirt on the DEMS” (mostly Hillary) and Trump said “no thank you.” How did Russia have this dirt......they got it off a server that contained Highly Classified and Top Secret information because it was moved to a janitors closet at a pizza shop. For those who may have forgotten, the server was secretly placed there so Crooked Hillary and our then President could correspond and cut deals without detection. Who is holding them accountable, will they face justice (probably not)

4. Trump says: do us a favor. Regarding the Russians & Crowdstrike – (a wealthy Ukrainian was involved) – The server of the DCCC hacking needs to get to the bottom of… Mueller report about Russian Collusion of course, it was actually DCCC collusion. (Trump wants that whole witch hunt with the origin of an illegal warrant investigated, - rightfully so…rw)

5. President Zelenskyy: brings up Giuliani. Plans to surround himself with great people & do the investigation openly & candidly.

6. Trump brings up fact that prosecutor Viktor Shokin was good, but he was shut down, (fired) by some very bad people involved. This is about the perceived illegal or at least influence peddling by Biden, Joe & Hunter. Trump knows it was improper & needs looking into. (apparently Biden was actually doing what the DEMS accused Trump of doing: exerting improper influence) Very similar to the Russian Collusion charge. (That’s what Clinton & DEMS were doing & accusing Trump of doing it…rw)

7. Pres Zelenskyy says he knows about the corruption & is knowledgeable, says in fact: the issue is to make sure to restore honesty. Asks for any more info U.S. may have. (Don’t miss this one: Pres Z asks for info/help on ending corruption in his country!...rw)

8. Trump says Giuliani will call & so will Attorney General Barr.
9. Exchange pleasantries to get together with each other, visit each other’s’ countries & hangs up.

In my opinion, there are two scandals:
1. Some "unknown bureaucrat without corroboration," & the rabid DEMS & Media attacking Trump.

The DEMS had decided the day after Trump was elected: November 09, 2016 that their job was to Resist, Obstruct & Impeach. "R.O.I." and that doesn't stand for Return on Investment! They have had an Impeachment charge in waiting, searching for something they could hang their hats on.

Russian Collusion didn't get it.
That was what they/are guilty of.
Now this won't get it either.

2. Biden’s alleged abuse of power/influence peddling.

You're ignoring a couple of points. Firstly, the conversation was half an hour long. The whole of the released transcript would have been about what, ten minutes? That even if you read the whole thing aloud at a snail pace.
Second point, the White House has been desperate to hide the full transcript knowing there is stuff in there that sent alarm bells ringing to the whistleblower. There's more to the conversation and the White House is tripping over themselves to not release it all.
