I found this film a mindboggling trip.

Sergei M. Eisenstein's "The Battleship Potemkin" for those that can't read russian.

I've not seen it, and I don't speak Turkish.

okay.. not a big deal..
this one's a spin-off from a popular tv series..
it's regarding the mafia, and the political connections..
i never watched the tv show, and haven't seen the movie..
it's very "rambo" - one man against all the bad guys..

the anti-american sentiment is not over the top..
the setting is present day iraq..
nothing to worry about..
we've seen the worst already..

"trouble every day" has a very powerful narrative..
vincent gallo is very good in the film..
it's one long and disturbing trip..

"naked lunch" owes a lot to cronenberg's interpretion..
great movie...

Did you like the remake of Psycho?
I never saw it, but I'm sure it sucked eggs bigtime...
And I didn't get the point of copying it identically.
It'll never top the original by the master of suspense.

There really wasn't much point to it... Other than they could... At least that's how I saw it... It was just shot with modern techniques and actors, but no difference at all... It's like Britney Spears' covering I Love Rock 'N' Roll...

I found this thriller pretty scary when I saw it in 1982

Tokolosh 06.15.2006 05:53 AM

Have you checked the children? Ha!

They've just made "another" remake. When will hollywood stop!!
