http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNjiGrtXV_U Again. Really dated surprisingly well. I just looked him up online and apparently he changed his name to Sananda Maitreya in the earlier 90s and now lives in Milan making world music inspired electronica and looks like this: ![]() |

Thanks. Did you like his second album, ''Neither Fish Nor Flesh''? I didn't think it was a bad record, certainly not as good at his first one. I remember when he came back in the early 90's with bleached blond hair, and another hit with a song I can't remember the name of. He's changed his name and converted to some religion. |

Oh you edited your post. He's still a really nice looking guy. I've had a few teen-wanks thinking of him. |
world music inspired electronica
That doesn't sound like a good idea. |
I never got the second album but do remember his bleached crop. Listening to 'If You let Me Stay' no one could deny that he really did have a great voice. I assume his religious turn is the cause of his current obscurity. Shame really.

Yeah i remember seeing him being interviewed on the tube by paula yates and she was practically raping the poor fucker. no wonder he found god |
paula yates was a starfucker (SORRY PEACHES)
|
i'd fuck peaches if i didn't have this bastard restraining order
|
I'd be a starfucker myself if I was married to Bob Geldof.
|
you'd need to be a starfucker to marry bob in the first place
|
Was she not kind of famous because of The Tube before he started the Live Aid thing?

yeah, although hardly enough people watched the tube at that time for her to really be considered famous in the way she became afterwards. She only actually married bob after live aid. to be honest, i always really liked her. |

I used to have all their singles too, even though Patsy Kensit always struck me as a bit bland. To her credit, she shagged 80's pop royalty and managed to make it to 90's mainstream indie royalty. I was more of a Samantha Fox type of guy. |

She's another person i quite like. I watched some documentary about her and expected to hate her but came away from it thinking she was alright. |
haha. I went out with Samantha Fox's cousin for about two years. Good times.
EDIT: They both became lesbians. True story. |

Both her and Paula Yates always managed to keep a low-key profile of some sort, regardless of their famous marriages. Not that they weren't often in the press, it' s more like they shied away from giving countless interviews, so that might have helped. Yes, Patsy Kensit seems like a nice girl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwVVxlmYOok and this is for Satanurnine, because it's ace. |

One of my ex-bosses is friends with the manager she had at the height of her career. I went out with them a couple of times a few years ago, but to be honest, he drinks a little too much and gets bitter about her. Who could have imagined she'd turn into a lesbian? |
