Sealed Gamecube Code Veronica: Ebay
$100.00+ |
Quote:
yeah. It had a really small print-run on the Cube. But why would you want it sealed anyway? Games are to be played yo. |
True, but I at least want it in mint condition.
|
but if you found it at Gamestop in mint condition it'd only be $23. Or even on eBay un-sealed but in mint, would be like $40-$50.
|
^I agree.
|
Way to agree with yourself, NR. :p
|
Any fans of this?

Am I the only one here who will only shop at gamestop if there is no other alternative.

It's a last resort for me too. GameStops just don't offer the variety of most local shops. I currently own 8 systems (NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Dreamcast, Gamecube, GBA, Xbox) and GameStop only supplies games for two of them (discluding Xbox, since the titles are usually scarce and no longer in their original packaging, plus GameStop is trying to push them out entirely). But even those games (GC + GBA) are strategically priced cheaper at independent shops. GameStop also looks so cold now (not like back in the FuncoLand days...R.I.P.), and the last few times I've been in there, they've had some bizarre, wretched sitcom blasting from at least 4 monitors on the surrounding walls. Whenever I go in, I rush out as quickly as possible. I can spend well over an hour browsing through the libraries of my favorite local shops though. ![]() |
You took the words right out of my typing fingers... I tried to rep you but I couldn't.
I hate their rejection of old consoles, scarcity of cover art or manuals, cold environment.. bleh. And why no dvds? There was always a hidden gem in the gamestop dvd rack. There's a great store in houston called Movie exchange that just sells all used movies and games of any format, as well as used cd's, and they have such an awesome variety of everything, all usually priced as much if not less than what you'd pay for a used copy online. Unfortunately, no surprise steals, but a really cool store with a surprisingly good game selection. |
Have you seen the sitcom-thing I'm talking about? It's so loud, and unfunny that it seriously blastbeats on your ear drums every time you browse through the store.
|
Yes... Yes I have, everything looked overly bright and yellow. Nauseating shit.
They also have the bland talk show setting where two tools in cheap dress shirts and a hottish chick blather on about some new release from EA. It just makes me sad that some test marketing showed that gamers would respond to these clowns. You are not excited about the Call of Duty game for the wii dipshits. |
Yeah, dude!! It's like staring into an eclipse! Ha

I don't give a FUCK. I buy my games where they are the CHEAPEST and in good condition. |
They are so overpriced also. I was at the store mentioned above today and got Final Fantasy XIII and a DVD of the original Lupin the Third tv series for a total of 30 dollars.
I was at the mall later that day and figured I'd see if they had a used copy of Dragon Quest 9 yet, and saw FF 13 there, used, for $45, $20 more than at movie exchange. |
I only buy from amazon, used.

I deleted my post, after realizing it was pretty much an exact duplicate of your's. Just as I was deleting it, you replied "^I agree." So it looks like you agreed with the post previous to my deleted post, which was also your's. ![]() |
