I think my freind Steven is. (He's gay. HA!)
He bought a 3 month card but he only has a regular xbox. So, I set it up for him and he's gonna import it to his xbox

I still say to tell them when you are out of the house.

That is probably the wiser move to make. But I would rather tell them now and end up rejected on the street or in a psychiatrist's room (or whatever they end up doing) than living in the closet wondering if I'd end up rejected when I told them.
