You must be wondering how
The boy next door turned out
Have a care, but don't stare
Because he's still there
Lamenting policewomen, policemen
Silly women, taxmen, uniformed whores
They who wish to hurt you
Work within the law
This world is full, oh
So full of crashing bores
And I must be one
Cause no one ever turns to me to say
"Take me in your arms
Take me in your arms
And love me"
You must be wondering how
The boy next door turned out
Have a care and say a prayer
Because he's still there
Lamenting policewomen, policemen,
Silly women, taxmen, uniformed whores
Educated criminals work within the law
This world is full, oh
So full of crashing bores
And I must be one
Cause no one ever turns to me to say
"Take me in your arms
Take me in your arms
And love me"
What really lies
Beyond the constraints of my mind?
Could it be the sea
With fate mooning back at me?
No, it's just more lock-jawed pop-stars
Thicker than pig-shit
Nothing to convey
So scared to show intelligence
It might smear their lovely career
This world, I am afraid,
Is designed for crashing bores
I am not one
I am not one
You don't understand
You don't understand
And yet you can
Take me in your arms and love me, love me
And love me
Take me in your arms and love me, love me, love me
Take me in your arms and love me
Take me in your arms and love me
Would you do, would you do what you should do?

i think someone mixed up the relevant with the irrelevant thread

dirty bunny 01.30.2019 10:35 PM

What's relevant to some is irrelevant to others.

I'm wise.

I decided to have a look at what Bill Belichick's annual wages and compared to what the big football managers get it's a pittance. Now let's ignore the ethics of paying a football manager millions for a minute.

Supposedly he's on $8 million a year. Then you compare it to Guardiola who gets about $20 million a year! That's an insane disparity. Especially when you consider Belichick is seen as the great American football manager in history (someone might correct me on that one). I'm sure you can say that the football market is a lot bigger than the American football market, but still, you know the Patriots owners are making an absolute mint from him and the rest of the team.

i was listening to freakanomics the other day and the guy was saying the sports industry is overrated, meaning—it’s regarded as more important that its actual size.

apparently, the cardboard box industry is about the same size as sports, lol.

i should have gotten into boxmaking.

but anyway, guardiola is watched by bazillions more people than this dude on a much more regular basis than this sport.

ATT is playing with Primordial Undermind at a venue in the 16th district of Vienna today. I'm thinking about showing up. Haven't seen him in about a year.

Bytor Peltor 02.06.2019 11:58 AM

At the end of February or first week of March, after the NFL had paid all of it’s bills and contracts......then the NFL writes and mails 32 checks to every NFL franchise......each check is for $250 Million.

You can be a horrible coach and horrible franchise, you can have losing Seasons for more than a decade (see the Cleveland Browns) and the NFL is still mailing you that check for $250 every year.

I fall out with everyone I know. It's only natural. I've got a good mind to waste. I got caught doing 57 in a 50 with a car full of booze. £100 fine and 3 points on the licence thank you bobs yer uncle. I've worked in an office for over 10 years. A decade rotting behind a desk. I finally got a promotion down to the basement. Mail room extraordinaire. At least i don't have to think anymore. I'm going places. I got scar tissue on my tongue. Gonna Lance it off. I viewed a house with downstairs bedrooms - contemporary modern living. The ambitious managers will foken av' ye. Grow a family Jogging Cliche. Then what? Leave a legacy. Perennially uncomfortable with silence so fill the air with mentally-ill-turmoil. It's easy to profile public. You get the gist, so die and get pissed.
