I also dig that cover, made by Eva Prinz if I'm not wrong. (?) |
Caught On Tape - Banjaxed Blues. 2 x cassette. Edition of 45

Yeah, I heard about this release a few days ago. Forty-five copies. I fail to see the point in releasing something that virtually no one will ever own and get to hear. Does anyone else ever get the impression that Thurston and company aren't truly interested in having the general public hear such stuff? |
where's SYR10?
where's the next live album? where's EVOL dlx? |

The Manhand record label that released these Caught On Tape cassettes is John Moloney's own label. He told me that he might do a larger edition release of this in the future... |

I still dream about Daydream tour '07 live DVD  |

Yeah, John sounds like a pretty decent fella. He told me in an email that Acting The Maggot might be released in a larger edition on vinyl with a regular cover. Actually, we should 'petition' John to do larger editions of these albums. I quite like them. I'd like to see An Irish Prayer on vinyl too. |
What do y'all think.
Lee Ranaldo and the Dust or Chelsea Light Moving, which was better release for 2013? Body/Head? Rank em. For me.. (1) Last Night on Earth 7/10 (2) Chelsea Light Moving 6/10 (3) Body/Head 6/6 By the way, 6 is a solid record from me so those aren't meant to diss. 8=heavy rotation, 9= life changing, 10=all-time best.. |
There will be a Thurston Moore with Michael Chapman live track on a new Michael Chapman album.

For me, 'Last Night On Earth' is the best album. That'll be the one I'll be playing the most in the future. As for CLM and Body/Head, they are almost equal to me. Maybe I like B/H just a little bit more at the moment. I think it'll all depend of the mood I'm in when choosing which one I'll put on. Overall, I really like each record in their own way. They all have a nice & different vibe to them. It's been a very good year, if you ask me. |

Body/Head gets a 6 out of... 6? |

Should be 6/10, though I'm thinking 5.. |
Body/Head is how Kim describes working her way up my meat-pole from the scrotal base.
